A Jolly Christmas
Last year, I had a truly wonderful Christmas vacation that was filled with family bonding, relaxation, and a touch of adventure. It all began a few days before Christmas when I took a short trip to visit my relatives in Abra. The peaceful setting, with its mountainous and tree-covered landscapes, made it feel like something that's in an exciting movie.
On Christmas Eve, we first attended a mass, and then we gathered for a hearty and cozy family dinner. The house was decorated with twinkling lights, and the smell of gingerbread, tons of veggies, and roasted pig filled the air. We exchanged gifts, and I was especially happy to see the surprise on my cousin's face when I gave him some of my Pokémon cards, as he was deeply in love in Pokémons. After dinner, we sang Christmas carols, played many games. and shared memories from past holidays and experiences. It was a perfect evening.
Christmas Day was spent in a mix of relaxation and fun. In the morning, we enjoyed a hearty breakfast of the lechon and hot coffee before heading out to swim in one of Abra's resorts. Later, we all sat down for a big holiday meal with our leftovers the night before, as we haven't finished them all. In the afternoon, we spent playing in the water, it was so fun and cool, there were many slides and canoes, they even had atv's and road bikes to rent. After we arrived home, I and some of my cousins played mobile games and we got many dubs. While the other played with board games and watched Christmas movies, snuggled up with blankets and popcorn.
Overall, my Christmas vacation was a perfect blend of relaxation, family time, and holiday cheer. It was a time to recharge, reflect, and make memories that will last a lifetime. I can’t wait for next year’s festivities!
